Ramble through the hills of southern Kanagawa and enjoy a picnic lunch with views of both Mt Fuji and the sea. Follow a forested track along the ridgeline before returning via a portion of the old Tokaido road, which once linked Kyoto and Edo (Tokyo).

This is a hiking tour. Expect 2.5 hours of walking/hiking over varied terrain, including dirt paths and paved roads.

About an hour outside of Tokyo, ramble along a beautiful, forested ridgeline in Kanagawa Prefecture on this easy to moderate hiking excursion.  Along the route, enjoy a picnic with (potential) impressive views of Mt Fuji. End this active adventure with an optional dip in a local open-air hot spring.

A hidden shrine, a wild bamboo forest, a ridgeline path and views of Mt Fuji (in good weather) are all to be enjoyed on this trail connecting Kamakura to the Yokohama area.
